Another year passes, in what seems like, the blink of an eye and what a year it's been!

Leben Hi-Fi Stereo Company is a Japanese manufacturer of high performance tube amplification. The designer and owner of Leben is Mr. Taku Hyodo who is ranked as one of the best eight tube audio design engineers in Japan.
Mr. Hyodo is a highly experienced Hi-Fi engineer having worked for Luxman in the past, and is also an ex-professional guitarist!
He is also a collector of premium tubes such as 3CSS, 12AT7, E288CC, 6L6GC (5881), all of which are (will be) used in Leben amplifiers to acheive the finest reproduction possible.

McIntosh 60th Anniversary Amplifiers now available in the UK.

The C22 Preamplifier was originally in production from 1963 to 1972. A commemorative Frank McIntosh version was designed and in production from 1995 to 1998. The C22 returns with updated circuitry for the 60th anniversary. The MC75 Monoblock Amplifier, originally in production from 1961 to 1970, returns as the amplification companion to the C22. These 60th anniversary models are available as a set and production is limited. McIntosh continuously incorporates performance and reliability improvements into each new product design to maintain their lead in technical superiority. Both the C22 and MC75 reflect today's advanced tube design and updated circuitry yet the classic cosmetics remain similar to the original design.

Isotek Aquarius now shipping!

IsoTek has unveiled the successor to its GII Mini Sub mains conditioner, the £795 Aquarius. It's a six-way mains conditioner that sits in the middle of IsoTek's range.
Aquarius has two high-current and four medium-current outlets, all individually filtered and fully isolated from one another, plus a newly-designed aluminium casing.
Current delivery is greater than the GII Mini Sub, with a full 16 Amps available from its two high-current outlets. A 16A IEC C20 connector offers superior current delivery from the mains, says IsoTek.
The four medium-current outlets feature Isotek's Adaptive Gating technology. An auto-sensing filter stage that adapts to the current draw of the load, thus tailoring the filtering process to suit each individual piece of equipment attached.

National Audio Show 2009

It's showtime once again and Jordan Acoustics will be doing something rather unique at the all new National Audio Show 2009. The event will be held at the Whittlebury Hall Hotel in Northants on the 26th-27th September and is shaping up to be a great event.
We will be flying the legendary Ken Ishiwata over from Marantz HQ in Japan to personally demonstrate his amazing Pearl SACD and amp combo for the first time ever in the UK. Another UK first, we'll also be showing the McIntosh 60th Anniversary pre and monos in a full Mac system, Marantz UD-9004, Audio Origami PU-7, Teo Liquid Cables and the new Art Deco 15 loudspeaker.
