Experience: A Classic and Retro Approach
The new Homage Tradition collection inherits the precious teachings of the masters of Italian violin-making and the experience gained in 20 years of design and development of the Homage line, with a classic and slightly retro approach.
The Aesthetic of the ``La Dolce Vita``
The world of ancient shipyards and the tradition of Italy’s shipwrights are the essence of the inspiration of the design of the Tradition collection. The new Wengè finish with maple inlays is the true aesthetic novelty of the collection and immediately links it with the elegant and timeless design of the most famous Italian motor-boats of the ``La Dolce Vita`` with their iconic wooden hulls.

Features
Once again, the name is taken from the history of Italian violin-making: Santo Serafino was a famous venetian master of the first half of the 18th century, specialized in making sturdy yet incredibly delicate violins.
The Cabinet
The violin shape of the speaker cabinet is the fruit of careful research and major restyling. The curves of the sides change, giving these speakers larger volume, especially on the back, and making possible a better control of the internal resonances. The brushed aluminium enhances the line and the 'Sf' logo in silk-screened glass placed right in the centre of the surface.
The Voice of Sonus faber
Mid and high frequencies that make the 'Voice of Sonus faber' are determined by a 28mm silk dome tweeter with 'Arrow Point' DAD™ (Damped Apex Dome), implemented with a natural wood acoustic labyrinth rear chamber, and a midrange M15 XTR-04 with a cellulose pulp cone and a Neodymium motor system. This iconic configuration of tweeter and midrange maintain the effortless, warm and involving timbre that has become our trademark.
Stealth Ultraflex
Visible element is the back back panel in extruded aluminium, the external part of the Stealth Ultraflex™ system characterised by a laminar tuning. The outline of this part acts as a vent favouring the flow of air through the duct while controlling its speed and reducing any turbulence and hence distortion. The back too is part of the exoskeleton system complete with Dampshelves on the top and on the bottom of the cabinet.
Silent Spikes
The speaker system is mechanically decoupled from the floor by the so called 'Silent Spikes', namely the coaxial metal/elastomer/metal spikes, which are an embodiment of the classic, patented Zero Vibration Transmission™. This system substantially reduces transmission of spurious vibrations to the listening room; also acoustic feedback phenomena are inhibited.
Finishes
The new Wenge finish with maple inlays is combined with aluminium brushed with titanium finish and with the leather on the front that features a new coffee colour. The essence of the walnut wood is preserved in the traditional 'Red' finish, with brushed black aluminium and the leather of the black front in line with the finish of the flagship models Aida, Lilium, Il Cremonese.
